On June 29, 2022, the monthly roadshow of biomedical financing projects "Win in Nanjing · Science & Innovation Future" (Session 43, innovative drugs special) was held both online via Tencent Meeting and live-streamed on WeChat. More than 500 investors, scientists, entrepreneurs and clinical experts from the biomedical field participated.
During the event, seven excellent enterprises presented roadshows online, covering projects such as peptide drugs, siRNA therapeutics, anti-aging drugs, tumor therapeutic vaccines and iPS cell drugs.
The expert review panel evaluated the projects comprehensively across five dimensions including technical team, market competition and overall capability. The audience interacted with the project teams through online questions, engaging in open and lively discussions.
The reviewing experts unanimously agreed that Anji Biotech has accumulated rich experience in the peptide industry and has consistently pursued innovative peptide drug R&D. In particular, its high-throughput micropeptide discovery and functional validation platform is already at a leading position in the industry, with a well-rounded pipeline layout and some programs already in Phase II clinical studies. Taking all of this into account, Nanjing Anji Biotech Co., Ltd.'s innovative peptide drug R&D project achieved the highest composite score and ranked first.
